Slow News Day is a place to read and write articles by people. Every Member has passed a check that they are human, and Writers agree to write every word themselves.

We publish less on purpose. Each Writer can publish one article a fortnight and comment on one article a week, so what you find here has had some thought put into it.

Readers decide what is good. When something is well written, they say so. When something reads as if a machine wrote it, they can say that too.
